Everton manager Howard Kendall finally admitted that his struggling Everton side was in serious trouble after they had slipped to a fourth successive defeat at the hands of Aston Villa and were just two points above the relegation zone.
Howard Kendall said “We defended badly in a nightmare start, we are in trouble. The position is serious.”
But Kendall refused to criticise his new signing Samson who appeared to have dived to get the penalty for his team sparking an angry reaction from the Villa players. “Kenny seemed to be involved in everything but I’ll have a look at the video before deciding about certain incidents.”
