Wimbledon got knocked out by Tottenham from the FA Cup in a thrilling 3-2 contest but Dons’ manager had no complaints about the result but he was furious about the petty tactics of the home team that put a notice on away end to not play any music.
Joe Kinnear said “We found a notice in our dressing room saying that to play music in there was against the law. The notice wasn’t there last week and someone even turned off electricity to the ring main to try and stop us from playing music. It was all so petty – and it didn’t work because we had some batteries handy!”
