Nottingham Forest star Roy Keane was ready to pledge his future to the club. The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland international wanted to delay the signing of his new contract until the summer but indicated that he was keen to stay with the club.
Roy Keane said “All I want to do at the moment is concentrate on playing football, but I’ve had a lot of talks about a new contract. I’m very happy with the way they’ve gone and I honestly can’t see any problem in signing when the season is over.”
