Three first-half goals from Garry Parker, Paul Mcgrath and Dwight Yorke ended the match as a contest in the first 45 minutes. Dean Saunders and Shaune Teale completed Middlesborough’s misery before Craig Hignett scored a late consolation goal for the visitors.
