Earlier in the season Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson making similar complaints about referee Brian Hill. A top premier league referee, Hill was demoted to football league for one month and he had alleged that his runs in with managers of Manchester United, Leeds and Liverpool were one of the reasons behind his demotion.
