Former Arsenal player Alan Hudson was critical of George Graham’s management of the squad as the club was in the news for wrong reasons once again. Arsenal players were alleged to have been involved in a bar brawl after their loss to Southampton a week earlier. Hudson said that Graham’s iron fist seems to rebound against him just when things were starting to look up and their defeat at Saints threw doubt on the team. He was also unimpressed with striker Ian Wright who Hudson felt was unable to join the midfield and contribute and offered very little in terms of all-round gameplay.
