Liverpool player John Barnes said he was horrified to find a family picture featuring his new baby daughter in the Sun Newspaper.
John Barnes said “I am horrified. I could not believe it. I stipulated that in no circumstances should it appear in any newspaper. Certainly not in the Sun.” The Sun newspaper was the centre of extreme anger amongst the Liverpool fans after it infamously reported lies after the Hillsborough Tragedy where 96 Liverpool supporters died. So any player giving exclusive images of his family to The Sun was not going to go down well with Liverpool Supporters.
